WiFi Connection Guide

If your location has Nuvad Technologies access, just follow the directions below to get online!

Windows Vista

  1. On your Desktop, right click on the network icon to view menu. (Icon is two computers on top of each other).
  2. From the menu, select Connect to a Network from the list.
  3. Select the Nuvad Technologies SSID with the strongest signal.
  4. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Nuvad Technologies greeting screen.

NOTE: Make sure you have your browser set to allow pop-us from Nuvad Technologies.

Windows XP

  1. In the bottom left corner of the computer screen, click on the Start button to display the Start menu.
  2. In the Start Menu, click on Control Panel to display the Control Panel dialog.
  3. In the Control Panel window, click on Network Connectionsto display the Network Connections dialog.
  4. Right click on Wireless Network Connection to view menu.
  5. Double-Click on Properties to view Wireless Network Connect Properties dialog.
  6. On the General Tab, in the "This connection uses the following items:" list, single click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to highlight it.
  7. Click on the Properties button to view the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog.
  8. Click the radio button beside Obtain an IP Address Automatically to mark it active.
  9. Select OK button to close the Internet Protocol Properties window.
  10. In the Network Connections window, right click on Wireless Network Connection to view menu.
  11. Click on View Available Wireless Networks to open Wireless Network Connection Dialog.
  12. Select the Nuvad Technologies SSID with the strongest signal and click Connect button.
  13. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Nuvad Technologies greeting screen. On the Nuvad Technologies Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.

NOTE: Make sure you have your browser set to allow pop-us from Nuvad Technologies.

Windows 2000

  1. In the bottom left corner of the computer screen, click on, Start Menu button to display the Start menu.
  2. In the Start Menu, click on Control Panel to display the Control Panel dialog.
  3. In the Control Panel window, click on Network and Dial-up Connections.
  4. Right-click on Local Area Connection.
  5. Select Properties.
  6. Highlight the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
  7. Double-click Properties.
  8. Select Obtain an IP address automatically.
  9. Select Obtain DNS server address automatically and click OK button.
  10. In the Network and Dial-up Connections window, right-click the icon for your wireless adapter interface.
  11. Scan for available networks and select the Nuvad Technologies SSID with the strongest signal.
  12. Click Connect.
  13. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Nuvad Technologies greeting screen. On the Nuvad Technologies Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Macintosh OSX

  1. In the Apple menu, select the AirPort icon and then select Turn AirPort On.
  2. Select Choice from the list of available networks.
  3. You will get a pop-up window that asks: Do you want to automatically join the wireless network named? Select the Nuvad Technologies SSID with the strongest signal.
  4. When asked,”in the future?”, select Yes.
  5. Once connected, Open a Web Browser and you will be directed to the Nuvad Technologies greeting screen. On the Nuvad Technologies Greeting Screen, scroll to the bottom of the page.
